Work Authorizations
An administrator can assign charge codes to time users to prevent mischarging the wrong projects. Time users see only the projects they are authorized to charge.
Period of Performance Date Ranges
As an option, an administrator can set up a charge code with a date range which allows charges only to dates within the date range. This feature prevents mischarging outside of the authorized period of performance.
Prevents Future Charging
As an option, an administrator can prevent a time user from charging time in the future. This feature prevents a time user from preloading their time charges and helps to reinforce daily entry of time charges. At the option of the administrator, a charge code can be set up to allow future charging when it makes sense, as in the case of holiday or paid time off.
Timesheet Locking
The administrator can lock time records to prevent modifications after important processing events such as invoicing or payroll. The administrator can lock time records at the time user level and for date ranges, providing even more precise control.
